Western Digital has launched a new enterprise SAS SSD, whose capacity can reach up to 15 TB, enabling users to store more files and data on this SSD. It has twice capacity of its previous SSD versions.
Western Digital Launch 15TB New Enterprise SAS SSD

Even though the Western Digital 15 TB Ultrastar DC SS530 SAS SSD is the same as the previous SSD versions with 2.5-inch 15-mm form factor, it has the twice capacity of the previous SSD and its storage density is also doubled.
Furthermore, the Western Digital 15 TB Ultrastar DC SS530 SAS SSD is also based on a trusted third-generation platform which has been previously qualified at most major OEMs worldwide. This kind of new 15TB enterprise SAS SSD can offer users perfect performance and reliability even though in toughest workloads.
This new enterprise SAS SSD adopts 12Gb/s SAS interface, and its capacity is from 400GB to 15.36TB. Its construction is also based on 64 layers of 3D TLC NAND particles, delivering important advance in performance and work efficiency. Its sequential read and write performance is 2150MB/s and 2120MB/s. And the 15 TB Ultrastar DC SS530 SAS SSD delivers up to 444,000 random and 320,000 random write IOPS.
