The storage of Max Usage depends on the disk space of the chosen hard disk, usually from 3% to 10%.
Way 2: Enable/Disable System Protection Using PowerShell
Another method to manage system protection is using Windows PowerShell. If you are familiar with command lines, this can be a more direct way.
Step 1: Right-click on the Windows icon button and choose Windows PowerShell(Admin) from the WinX menu.
Step 2: Type different command lines based on your requirements.
To enable system protection, type Enable-ComputerRestore -Drive “C:\” and hit Enter.
To disable system protection, type Disable-ComputerRestore -Drive “C:\” and hit Enter.
