Early years, Windows 10 can mirror the screen to any dongle or device (TV, Blu-ray player) that is compatible with the popular Miracast standard and later Microsoft's operating system can turn your PC into a wireless display. Click MiniTool to get more information.

If you have a small Windows 10 computer – such as the Intel Compute Stick – connected to your TV, now it can be turned into the Wireless Display for your phone or laptop.

When you mirror from a Windows 10 computer, you can extend instead of duplicating the screen. For example, when you send a primary email, you can play a movie on the receiving display. Just imagine such a scene that when you use a Windows 10 laptop, put it next to a phone and you can use the Windows 10 laptop as the second monitor on the road.

While most Wi-Fi-enabled modern devices are capable of transmitting Miracast signals, compatibility is at best unstable. And, sometimes even if you can connect, you have to try three to four times before the process works. Thus, please wait patiently.

click Projecting to this PC

Step 3: When the settings window appears, select Available Everywhere or Available everywhere on secure networks from the top pulldown menu.

Step 4: Under Require projection to this PC,select First time only or Every time.

Note:
1. I recommend selecting First time only unless you are really worried that your phone will be cast to your computer by some rogues without your permission.
2. I recommend turning off Request Pairing PIN since anyway you must grant permission on the receiving computer.

Step 5: When the screen shows that another device wants to project to your computer, please click Yes.

Then, you have turned your Windows 10 PC into a Miracast-capable wireless display successfully.
