How to connect PC to TV?
- Use HDMI

Method 1: Use HDMI
1. Connect your PC to your TV via a HDMI cable.
The HDMI port on your PC and the HDMI port on the TV are the same and the HDMI cable should have the same connector on both ends. If your TV has more than one HDMI cable, you should make note of the port number you plug it into.
2. Change the input of your TV.
Pick up the TV remote or use the buttons on the TV, and then press the Input button to change the input of the TV to HDMI.
If there is more than one HDMI port on your TV, you need to select the HDMI port that is connect to your PC. While, sometimes, your TV can automatically change the input when it detect a signal.
3. Right-click on the desktop of your computer and then select Display Settings.
4. Click Detect. Then, your computer will begin to look for the TV you have connected to it. Then, you can discover that there are two squares in the window, labeled 1 and 2.
5. Click Identify. This can show a label on each screen so that you can know which number is assigned to your computer monitor and which number has been assigned to your TV. (1 is the main display and 2 is the secondary display)
6. Click Multiple displays to unfold it and then select an option that you want to use.
Duplicate these displays: it will mirror exactly what is on your computer screen on the TV.
Extend these displays: it will make your TV an extended part of your desktop.
Show only on 1: it will turn off the display number 2.
Show only on 2: it will turn off the display number 1.
7. Click Apply to keep the settings.
After these operations, your computer should be connected to your TV successfully.
Method 2: Use DVI or VGA
1. Connect your computer to your TV via a DVI or VGA cable.
2. Connect your computer to your TV via an audio cable.
3. Change the input of your TV.
Pick up the TV remote or use the buttons on the TV, and then press the Input button to change the input of the TV to DVI or VGA.
Perhaps, your TV’s input is labeled as PC or Computer. Or perhaps, your TV can automatically change its input when it detect a signal.
4. Right-click on the desktop of your computer and then select Display Settings.
5. Click Detect.
6. Click Identify.
7. Unfold the drop-down menu for Multiple displays and select the option you want to use.
8. Click Apply to keep the settings.
After these operations, your computer should be connected to your TV successfully.
Method 3: Use Wi-Fi
- Enable Wi-Fi on your TV. Here, you need to know that not all TVs support this feature. If you are not sure, you can read the manual of your TV to check.
- Connect your TV to your Wi-Fi network that is same with the network your computer is using.
- Right-click on the desktop of your computer and then select Display Settings.
- Unfold the drop-down menu for Multiple displays and select Duplicate this display.
- Click Apply to keep the settings.
- Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Connected Devices on your computer.
- Click Add a device.
- Select your TV and your computer will connect to your TV.
